Getting to/from London Gatwick by train

For travelling to/from central London, the best option from Gatwick Airport is to use the Gatwick Express service, which runs every 30 minutes from Gatwick Airport railway station non-stop to London Victoria.

Alternatively for other destinations in London, Southern trains run directly to London Victoria and London Bridge. Southern trains also operate to Brighton, Lewes, Chichester and Portsmouth.

First Great Western operate a service from Gatwick Airport railway station to Guildford and Reading. This is only a direct service at peak hours, at other times, it is necessary to use Southern trains to travel from Gatwick Airport to Redhill and change at Redhill for the First Great Western service to Guildford and Reading.

All UK trains and railway stations are non-smoking and you can be fined if caught smoking on either station or trains.
