Steyning Visitors Guide

Steyning is a small town in West Sussex. Steyning is located at the north end of the River Adur gap through the South Downs, four miles north of Shoreham-by-Sea.

Steyning does not have a railway station, but it is served by bus services to Brighton, Horsham, Worthing, Pulborough and Burgess Hill.

Steyning has many timber framed buildings. The Norman church in Steyning contains some of the best Romanesque architecture in England.

Just outside Steyning is Bramber Castle, which dates from the time of William the Conqueror.

Steyning has a range of shops, pubs and restaurants. For overnight stays, there are a number of Bed and Breakfasts available.
